About the Hosts

Meet Nikisha
Nikisha is a singer/actress patiently waiting to become a scream queen in her own right. Until then, you can catch her singing on various stages across the NYC area. She holds a master’s degree in choral conducting and a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. Her theatre credits include the Broadway national tours of The Color Purple and Hamilton. Nikisha currently serves as associate choir director for the nonprofit organization, Broadway Inspirational Voices.
Nikisha’s love of horror started when a family member introduced her to the movie Child’s Play at too young of an age. The result was a love that grew stronger with each deep dive into the genre, and an irrational fear of porcelain dolls that never went away.
The Scream franchise, Nightmare on Elm Street, Get Out, Smile 2, It (2017), The Conjuring, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Misery, the Saw franchise, Midsommar, Trick ‘r Treat, and Pearl are some of her favorite horror movies.
“What an excellent day for an exorcism!”

What Listeners are Saying

"This has quickly become my favorite podcast. The 3 hosts have great chemistry. They give in-depth analysis. I look forward to them every week and often go back and re-listen."

"Every time I come to visit the Talking Horror Pod, I learn so much. Not only are Nikisha and Bryan such well-versed horror fans and thoughtful reviewers, but Jamie with the mental health perspective of a therapist puts this pod above the rest. Just one of these three hosting a podcast about horror movies would be a treat but with their powers combined they are CAPTAIN PLANET - er, I mean, they're AWESOME! Seriously one of the most unique movie review shows out there. Highly recommend."

"Each episode is entirely engaging with some of them being spectacular and special. Jamie giving the psychological side is such an interesting part and Nikisha does not hesitate to speak the truth. Great job. One of the podcasts I look forward to and make sure not to miss."
